Executive Summary

Frank Staddon Ltd (FSL) was established in 1973 and is controlled and owned by its directors. Their names are ‘over the door'; they are responsible, they are also accessible and available. There is a very short line of communication to the top for both our clients and our staff. Everyone is “hands-on” and very strict control is exercised from the top. We pride ourselves on our standards and achievements. We are one of the founder members of the Association of Brickwork Contractors.

FSL has been trading successfully for over 35 years. We are honest in our declared aims to work only within acceptable access of London and the Home Counties, where we can be competitive and give our clients what they desire.

We employ our own direct labour and prefer to restrict our workload capacity to a maximum of approximately 250 operatives.

FSL has worked on many prestigious projects and for some of the industry's major players, involving the whole expectations of requirements with regard to quality, tolerance, degree of difficulty, speed and output.

Our apprentice scheme has been very successful and rewarding and we have continued to nurture it through the years, despite the bad times that the industry has suffered.

The FSL safety record is second-to-none and we currently have a five year clean record for reportable accidents.

Standard of Performance

Our record with all major organisations is note worthy. Wimpey, Laing O'Rourke, Taylor Woodrow, Sir Robert McAlpine, Clugston, John Sisk, Skanska/Kvaerner, Wates, Tolent, Willmott Dixon, Interserve, Shepherd, Hutton, Killby & Gayford, Rooff Ltd, Osborne, Fairview Homes, Berkeley Homes and Sport England are all repeat order clients of long standing.

Major varied projects such as The British Library, Jubilee Line Stations, the Stands at Twickenham, Corn Exchange, Crosby Hall Redevelopment Cheyne Walk, Canary Riverside Hotel, Nortel Works, N1 Shopping Centre Islington, Basildon Town Centre, HMP Bronzefield Prison Ashford, Adult Mental Health Wing at the Whittington Hospital, Wembley Police Station, Arsenal at Lough Road, Bow Police Station, Lambeth Hospital, Wembley Arena, Shoreditch Hotel, Hopetown (Salvation Army hostel), Redbridge Judo Club, Stansted and Heathrow airports (diplomats lounge), plus many hospitals, research centres, luxury homes, schools and shopping centres, demonstrate our depth of experience and expertise.
